Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara is a 2003 American documentary film about the life and times of the U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert S McNamar. It also illustrates his observations of the nature of modern warfare. The film was directed by Errol Morris had the title of the “Fog War” the title is related to a military phrase describing the difficulty of making decisions in the midst of conflict.

1)There is no single part in the film that really stands out to me, but the movie as a whole had was very impacting. I think is was because the mood of the movie changed so direstically. At first it talked about the glory days, everything was going great they found a way to save lives by creating seatbelts and were beginging to become very wealthy. But then he had to make the horrible decision and he felt horrible. It was like a emotional rolocoster and thats what stood out to me.

2) I think the lesson "you cant change human nature" was most interesting to me. Most of these lessons seem very realistic, this being one of them. This is interesting to me because there it is very true, humans have a certain mind set that no matter how hard you try once something  is set in their head it is almost impossible to change.

3) 1)       Lesson #2, Lesson #4, Lesson #7, Lesson #9, Lesson #10, Lesson #11 were all very interesting to me. I think this is because they are all so related to every day life. The others were interesting aswell but to me they were not as impacting. Some of the ones I have chosen are very true statements and give a reason to something’s in life. #4, #10, #9 I believe are the ones that I believe are going to have the most impact on the 21st century and possibly even longer then that.
